Area Supervisor

We’re looking for a superstar Area Supervisor who will help our tutors achieve their goals and ensure efficient business operations. This position will be based in our Austin location. 

What you’ll be responsible for:

Branch Management Duties

  • Maintain consistency in procedures and day-to-day operations as established by Cram Crew, Inc.
  • Create monthly schedule of office staff employee hours and coverage for the Austin office and modify as needed
  • Monitor facility for supply needs and place orders accordingly
  • Manage any office event scheduling and visitors/appointments
  • Communicate with tech support as needed
  • Oversee and manage office staff members to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures
  • Facilitate productive discussion and collaboration between teams and office staff members
  • Facilitate office and team meetings

Field Services Duties

  • Manage team of Austin consultants (tutors) who typically work remotely in clients’ homes while fostering a positive relationship between consultants and office while creating and maintaining an outstanding client experience
  • Assign clients to consultants based on consultant’s preferred hours, current workload, availability, and location
  • Oversee consultants’ performance and ability to manage their own client-loads
  • Coach consultants and provide feedback during scheduled evaluations and as necessary
  • Perform secondary interviews with any consultant candidates for hire
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as processing time off requests, bonus paperwork, and paper account logs, checking out materials, auditing client progress logs, reviewing protocols with consultants, calculating administrative pay and travel bonuses, running weekly billable hour reports, updating assignment spreadsheet, and being involved in portions of new employee onboarding and consultant training
  • Monitor and manage consultant availability and work hours
  • Create initiatives to motivate consultants’ productivity
  • Maintain open communication with other teams to understand client and consultant needs
  • Facilitate and plan meetings for consultants while encouraging engagement

What you should offer:

  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience
  • Outstanding leadership experience with a proven success record of coaching and mentoring employees to achieve optimal results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications such as Docs, Sheets, and Hangouts
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Available to work 40 hours per week during normal business hours and flexibility to work some evening and weekend hours
  • Commitment of a minimum of two years
