Development Coordinator

Who we are:

We are Cram Crew, a one-on-one, in-home tutoring firm. Tutoring firm? Yep, tutoring is what we do, and we’re dang proud of it. We’re looking for a one-of-a-kind Development Coordinator to help support the content knowledge of our students and tutors.

As a member of the Development team, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating Mock Exams, scheduling certifications and providing content and technical support to our tutors.

This position will be based out of our Austin office.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Development Team and Training
    • Working in conjunction with the internal Development Team to host Continuing Education Courses (CECs) specific to your area
      • Organizing CEC events in terms of scheduling, attendance, securing locations, and providing CEC credits.
      • Presenting CEC events or coordinating with a presenter.
    • Scheduling and coordinating certifications for your area’s Field Team
      • Coordinating with Field Services, setting up dates and times, and sending out calendar invites.
      • Coordinating with the internal Development Team to secure trainers, if necessary.
      • Leading certifications in certain subjects as needed.
    • Coordinating and attending your area’s teachbacks following training.
      • Observing and evaluating trainees during teachbacks and performing field prep training (such as technology training) if necessary.
    • Acting as your area’s Development representative to provide content and technology support to the Field Team
      • Following up with consultants who have recently passed training and answering any content- or training-related questions.
    • Working in conjunction with the internal Development Team to create, edit, and implement new materials
    • Assisting in and hosting specialty events for clients like The Extra Point and for consultants like Employee Appreciation Events
  • Mock Exams
    • Coordinating dates and times of your area’s Mock Exams
    • Arranging proctors for your area’s Mock Exams
    • Organizing and coordinating any Mock Exams by ensuring all examinations are received and that policies and formatting are respected
    • Verifying that the right Mock Exam is administered to individual students by checking previous exam results and schedule
    • Preparing examination schedules and timetables. Distributing schedules to faculty and resolving schedule conflicts for clients that cannot take scheduled Mock Exams presented on the portal calendar
    • Sending out reminder emails to students registered for a Mock Exam at least 3 days in advance
    • Reviewing and participating in the establishment of Mock Exams
    • Coordinating the printing, storing, and delivery of each Mock Exam
    • Verifying results to ensure instructions have been followed and information is accurate
    • Sending out results to parents, students, and consultants
    • Liaising between faculty and students. Resolving problems and making recommendations to improve the Mock Exam process
    • Assisting clients with testing with accommodations to find or coordinate Mock Exams that would suit them, if possible
    • Creating Baseline Diagnostic Exam assessments, uploading BLD assessments, and sending out BLD assessments to consultants
  • General Duties
    • Uses a variety of equipment such as a personal computer, printer, Scantron machine, scanner, and other standard office equipment
    • Provide support to other teams, as needed

  • A minimum of 60 college credit hours

What you’ll be compensated:

  • $14-$16 per hour
